EYLF-Aligned

Our Structured 8-Week Program

Our curriculum gently nurtures children's physical, emotional, and social development through movement and mindfulness. Each 30-minute session is designed to enhance wellbeing, improve focus, and support self-regulation, supporting calmer group dynamics, more connected engagement, and a warm, settled learning environment where children can truly thrive.

EYLF Alignment

Built on the core principles of Belonging, Being and Becoming (EYLF V2.0, 2022). All sessions target the five outcomes:

  1. Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
  2. Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  3. Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  4. Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners
  5. Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators

Session Examples

  • Story Adventures: Yoga poses woven into imaginative storytelling, inviting children to move, explore, and build confidence through creative play.
  • Mindfulness: Simple breathing and awareness games that help children tune into their bodies, recognise emotions, and find moments of calm.
  • Coordination: Playful sequences that support balance, coordination, and body awareness while keeping movement fun and engaging.
  • Guided Calm: Gentle wind-downs that support relaxation, helping children smoothly transition into the rest of their day feeling settled and ready.

Meet your Instructor

Hi I'm Suraya! As a young instructor, I naturally connect with children and love creating a fun, safe space where they can move, play, and be themselves. My classes are gentle, engaging, and full of creativity, helping kids build confidence, body awareness, and a positive relationship with movement.

I've been practicing yoga since I was a child, growing up with a mum who was also a yoga teacher. I've experienced firsthand how much yoga can support confidence, calm, and emotional wellbeing from a young age.
